Wish List
Interfaith Works accepts over $4 million of in-kind donations every year and redistributes these much needed items free of charge to qualified low-income neighbors in need. Donation drives are a good way to involve your family, faith group or co-workers.
Interfaith Clothing Center Wish List
(to benefit the Interfaith Clothing Center in Rockville and the Hans Rosenfeld UpCounty Interfaith Clothing Center in Gaithersburg)
- In season clothing and accessories in good condition (either new or gently used) for men, women, and children. For winter months, cold-weather gear is very welcome (coats, jackets, hats, gloves and mittens, scarves, boots for all ages).
- New socks and underwear for men, women and children
- Linens – towels, wash cloths, sheets, twin-sized bed linens, pillows, blankets
- Housewares including kitchen supplies, dishes, cooking utensils, cutlery, dish towels
- New school supplies: backpacks, paper, pencils, pens, binders, and crayons
- New items for Infants: layettes, diapers, baby clothes, baby blankets, infant toiletries, infant/baby wipes, baby lotion, baby shampoo, and crib linens
- New School Supplies: backpacks, paper, pencils, pens, binders and crayons
- Computers
- Calculators
- Musical instruments
- Toiletries (for all ages): soap, shampoo, shaving cream, razors, deodorant, moisturizers, toothbrushes, toothpaste and tampons.
- New Toys and Books (for children’s birthday gifts)
Items can be dropped off during donation hours at either clothing center.
Interfaith Works can also receive clothing donations in the “big green bins” scattered throughout the County, which are managed by the Clothing Recycling Corporation. Goods placed in these bins are collected and sorted by CRC and distributed as needed to our Interfaith Clothing Centers. For more information, contact our Interfaith Clothing Centers.
Homeless Services Wish List
- Towels and twin-sized linens
- Toiletries: soap, shaving cream, razors, deodorant, moisturizers, toothbrush, toothpaste, tampons
- Non-perishable foods: Cereal, canned goods
- Laundry detergent
- Paper goods: Napkins, plates and bowls, plasticware
Items can be dropped off at Community Based Shelter during business hours Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Emergency Support Wish List
- Grocery cards (Giant, Safeway, etc.)
- Holiday food and gifts for families
